By Air British Airways offers flights from Glasgow, Inverness and Edinburgh to Stornoway. Flying time is anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour. Air services are available on Sundays.
By Car There are two ferry routes to the Isle of Lewis operated by Caledonian MacBrayne from Ullapool to Stornoway and from Uig on the Isle of Lewis to Tarbert. The ferries do not operate on Sundays.

At Stornoway,Western Isles take the A857, At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Macaulay Road - A857 (signposted Port Nis), Turn left onto Willowglen Road (signposted Tarbert, Garynahine), Turn left onto the A858, drive approximately six miles to Leurbost
The journey should take approximately 15 minutes.
Directions from Tarbert
Turn left onto the A868. Entering Tarbet (Tairbert), At T-junction turn right onto the A859 (signposted Stornoway), Continue forward onto the A859. Entering Aird Asaig, Entering Baile Ailein, Entering Lacasaidh, Continue forward onto the A859. Entering Leurbost (Liurbost). Total drive approximately 29 miles.
The journey should take approximately 50 minutes.
